About this game

Augmented Reality strategy game "Domination: Earth" operates in the real world around you - military style! Check in wherever you go using your phone or tablet to capture places and pieces of land, expanding your global empire - like Geocaching on steroids!

Tactics include capturing lands to build military bases and recruiting armies in order to establish regional dominance. Create alliances with your neighbors to fight against foreign threats or simply build a missile launcher in your backyard and protect your hometown of invaders!

Construction resources will pop up all over the globe, so in the process of their collection you can explore places you've never seen before. Why not go hiking or cycling? Explore and adventure to secure valuable resources! Traveling to another country? Don't forget to check in five times in any spot to establish a new base of operations. Once you've collected enough resources you can send your armies to the overseas base in order to advance your influence remotely, even after you've left!

Another clever aspect of the game is "item scrapping": scanning any real-world item with a barcode and transforming it into a resource by using your camera (don't worry, you still get to keep your items afterwards!). Books, toys, DVDs, soda cans - almost anything becomes a source of useful material.

Now go forth and rule the world with Domination: Earth!

In principle, this would be a great game! It's a good idea, and I really like the thought of an AR base-builder. I just wish that someone at Niantic or some other big mobile company thought the same. In my opinion, this idea is a great idea for a game, but it just wasn't executed well at all. The game is wrought throughout with bugs and glitches, and the UI is rough and unfriendly. The GPS malfunctions are consistently inconsistent, leading to the entirety of the game being very frustrating.

Hi Stanley, Sorry you've had such a bad experience with "Domination: Earth"; as its sole developer I am doing everything possible to improve every aspect, but perfection takes time. :) However, a more detailed report of the bugs and glitches you have run into would be greatly appreciated on our forum (forum.domination.earth)! ;) Best Regards, Dan

Updated Review: Everything in the game has been improved since my last review, and all for the better! Crashes have all-but stopped, the GPS locating is constantly being improved, and the UI is a smooth experience. No local players? No problem, there's an AI player who is constantly being reworked, adding flavor to what would otherwise be a "see how big I can make my land" game. Rewards for taking land and winning battles have FINALLY been added, making an actual point to fighting at all. The only issue I can see now is the way territory works. It's usuable, but expect your territories to overlap, rather than look like a grouping of states or territories. I think remaking this would be the next step. I'd recommend the way for it to work to be like this: territories can remain circles, but if the contact another territory, a sort of "border" appears, most like the way borders between states look. This could work with your own territories, or with those that others have that connect to yours. This would make nations look more like NATIONS, and would bring more incentive to attacking someone (to capture an ACTUAL territory, not just border control people from cutting into your land.)

Thank you very much for your feedback! :) We are continuously working on making the game more stable on all devices, but there are so many of them that it takes a while to achieve perfection. :) We're doing our best to improve this area ASAP though! We'd also be happy to hear any ideas in regard to resources on forum.domination.earth ;) - Dan

Fun, Good game wile out and about. Now at lvl 7, and finding that this game is best played by claiming a point. Then hanging around and stacking levels on thouse points to make them grow (over time). Note: the $ only resource, requires that you spend about $20 (you could spend lots more, that's just a base line guess to reach lvl 10 or so). Dosen't look like I can go much farther without spending $.
